This year the Weld RE-1 Technology department will be selling used Chromebooks to 8th grade students for $10. If you are interested in buying a used Chromebook please fill out this Google Form and pay the secretary at your school by Friday 5/20/22. Any submissions after 5/20/22 will not be processed. 8th grade students will receive their device during the last week of school. ALL CHECKS MUST BE MADE OUT TO WCSD RE-1 TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT.
A few notes about buying a used Chromebook:
8th grade students you will not be buying the device that you are currently using. You will still need to turn in your current device at the end of the year.
All used Chromebooks will be removed from our network and our supervision. They will be wiped of information and will be turned into a personal device. These devices will not be able to connect back to school WiFi and can only be used away from our network.
There could be cosmetic flaws with the device you purchase but the tech department will inspect each device for major issues before giving them to the purchaser. You are purchasing this device “as is.” Weld Re-1 will not repair any device after it has been purchased and removed from our network

Student Tech Support - Students, if you need tech support you can fill out a tech support ticket. Go to the "Student" dropdown on the website and select "Student Tech Support Request." Fill out the information on the next page and someone from the Tech Department will reach out to you. Make sure you check your email!
